BlizzCon 2026 runs 12 and 13 September, and there is a free mount attached to watching it. Here is the whole reward structure, the deadlines that catch people out, and what is actually on the schedule.

The drop tiers

Four rewards, unlocked by viewing time: 2 hours for 200 Trader's Tender, 4 hours for the Cuddly Blue Grrgle housing decor, 8 hours for the Fluffy Comfy Flying Quilt mount, and 12 hours for the Venomous Champion's Illustrious Banner toy.

The windows differ by platform. Twitch runs from 12 September at 9:30am PDT all the way to 27 September at 10:00am PDT, which is plenty of time to accumulate twelve hours. YouTube is far tighter: 12 September 9:30am PDT until 13 September 7:00pm PDT, on the official World of Warcraft channel only.

On Twitch you can hop between any eligible channel in the Warcraft category without losing progress. Watching two streams at once does not stack.

Claimed drops expire after 7 days if your Battle.net account is not linked. Link first at your Battle.net connections page — and note that relinking a new Twitch account carries a 7-day cooldown, so do not leave it until the day.

A few things worth knowing

Rewards land in the first Battle.net region you log into after claiming, so log into the region you want them on. Delivery can take up to 24 hours. Console apps, smart TVs and TV apps do not support drops — use a browser or the mobile apps.

Attending in person? Link your BlizzCon Pass to your Battle.net account by 18 September and rewards arrive during the week of 21 September.

The decor item has a bonus: once claimed, you can buy extra copies from Dennia Silvertongue in Silvermoon City, Tuuran in Stormwind or Gabbi in Orgrimmar. Housing decor requires Midnight, and none of these rewards are available in Classic.

AWC and MDI Grand Finals

Both finals return to the BlizzCon stage for the first time since 2019, with a combined $600,000 prize pool.

The MDI starts 12 September at 12:45pm PDT — four teams, single-elimination best-of-three with a best-of-five final, run on the new Season 2 dungeon maps at higher keystone levels. If you want to see how the top teams route the dungeons you are pushing, this is the best study material of the season.

The AWC follows on 13 September from 10:45am PDT — six teams, best-of-five single elimination with a best-of-seven final, and the return of cross-region matches between Europe, North America and China.

For the first time both are being costreamed from inside the halls, including French and German coverage alongside the official channels.

The panels that matter

Day one has World of Warcraft: What's Next at noon PDT and a second What's Next at 2:45pm. Day two opens with the Deep Dive at 10:00am, and closes out with Hardcore: What's Next at 4:15pm.

Expectations are set high. Patch 12.1.5 should already be on the PTR by then, and the team has said they will be talking about 12.1.7, 12.2 and possibly further out.
