Alt gear caches for Mistcrest and Conquest
The same catch-up route that appeared midway through Midnight Season 1 is coming back. Shortly after 12.1.5 lands, alongside the crest and Conquest cap coming off, vendors in the new Silvermoon will start stocking gear caches aimed squarely at alts.
What the caches contain
Both are already sitting on PTR vendors, so the contents are known:
- The Amani cache holds a 292 Defender 1/6 PvE piece from Season 2 Mythic+. It costs 750 Mistcrest from Agmera, with no Mythic+ rating requirement at all
- The Venomous cache holds a 292 Defender 1/6 PvP piece from the Season 2 Venomous Gladiator set. It costs 375 Conquest Points from Irissa Bloodstar and needs 1,400 or more PvP rating in any bracket
Why this matters for alts
Both caches are warband-tradeable. Whichever character banked the currency can buy them and post them straight to whichever character actually needs the item level, which is the whole point.
If you have been sitting on tens of thousands of Mistcrest with nothing to spend it on, this is a route to putting a fresh character in a position to walk into keys or a raid without a gearing week first. The Conquest version needs 1,400 rating before you can buy it, so if that is the blocker, a PvP rating boost unlocks the vendor.
