WoW hotfixes, 10 September 2026
Blizzard has published a hotfix list covering both Midnight and The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary. It includes class corrections across six specialisations, a fix to a Venomous Abyss encounter, and repairs to Delve and Hunt problems.
Classes
- Death Knight (Unholy) – fixed an issue where the Magus of the Dead could spawn at a significant height difference
- Hunter (Survival) – Wildfire Bomb's instant damage now applies if the Hunter is crowd-controlled at the moment the bomb hits. Also fixed Coordinated Assault failing to deal Raptor Strike damage with the Spearhead bonus while Eagle's Spirit was active
- Mage (Spellslinger) – Augury Abounds splinters no longer preferentially hit crowd-controlled targets when uncontrolled ones are available
- Paladin (Holy) – fixed Holy Bulwark failing to trigger when cast by Forge of Light on a selected target
- Paladin (Protection) – Vanguard's Glory now deals full damage to its primary target
- Rogue – both versions of Thistle Tea can now be tracked by the cooldown manager
- Shaman (Restoration) – Soothing Rain now correctly reduces Healing Rain's cast time by 0.5 seconds
Delves
- Fixed an issue where a Delve punisher could consume an already-dead enemy
- Explorers' League supplies and an abandoned healing stone now appear in the "Trapped!" story variant of the Twilight Crypts Delve
Dungeons and raids
- Nalorakk's Lair – fixed Nalorakk's Repeated Thrashing triggering at random
- Venomous Abyss, The Lost Explorers – Mor'zaha's damage bonus during Final Ascension now resets if the cast is interrupted
PvP and the Hunt
Evoker picked up two fixes: Free Flight causing Deep Breath to push the player forward during low-altitude flight, and the Chronowarden talent making players immune to root effects while Free Flight was taken.
On the Hunt side, the exhausted and tormented soul effects no longer dispel on death, on entering a battleground or arena, or on changing specialisation, and can no longer be cancelled accidentally by the player.
The Burning Crusade Classic
Season 2 arena belts, bracers, boots, rings and necks can now be bought at a discount for Honor Points from the vendors in the Hall of Legends in Orgrimmar and the Champions' Hall in Stormwind.
