12.1.5 Cinematic Description Hints at Xal'atath's Plan
Midnight is working its way toward its second half, and the story is due to take players somewhere new. A technical description of a future cinematic has now been found in the 12.1.5 test files, and it points once more at what Xal'atath intends for Azeroth.
What the description says
The file is labelled for 12.1.5 and named after Orweyna and Ula'tek, which suggests players are meant to see it during that patch. In it, Orweyna is lost in visions that begin to overwhelm her. She opens her eyes sharply and stares ahead at the world-soul wrapped in a purple eclipse, with Xal'atath visible in flashes, laughing.
Where it fits
It appears to sit before the scene in which Orweyna describes her visions to Arator, Liadrin and Zul'jarre. That earlier scene was expected in the 12.1 epilogue and never arrived, either shelved or cut outright, so this one carries the same risk of being changed or dropped.
