The Lionheart Helm is the undisputed Phase 1 and Phase 2 BiS head slot for physical DPS classes. Warriors rogues retribution paladins and feral druids all want this item. The stat line is simple and brutal: +18 strength, 28 critical strike rating and 20 hit rating. No raid drop or reputation reward in Phase 1 or Phase 2 beats that combination for melee damage output. Most physical DPS players wear this helm well into Tier 5 content. Some keep it until Sunwell because the hit rating alone fixes so many gearing gaps.
