Diablo IV Twitch Drops for BlizzCon 2026
Blizzard has announced Twitch Drops for Diablo IV to mark BlizzCon 2026, covering three weapon cosmetics. They are only claimable for three days.
The rewards and what they cost you
Watch any Diablo IV stream with Drops enabled between 10:00 a.m. PDT on September 12 and 9:59 a.m. PDT on September 15:
- 2 hours total – a dagger skin
- 4 hours total – an axe skin
- 6 hours total – a two-handed mace skin
The chat badge
Separately, gifting one subscription to any active streamer in the Diablo II: Resurrected, Diablo III, Diablo Immortal or Diablo IV categories earns a BlizzCon and Diablo chat badge. That window is longer, running from September 12 to September 26.
Rules worth knowing before you start
- You do not need to own the game. Neither Diablo IV nor Lord of Hatred is required to make progress or claim the Drops
- Channel switching is fine. Progress carries across any participating Diablo IV stream
- Watching several streams at once does not stack. Background tabs and inactive tabs do not count either
- Drops work in a browser on PC or Mac, or in the Twitch mobile app. Console, Smart TV and other TV apps do not support them
- Rewards are not automatic. Claim them on the channel or in the Drops inventory on Twitch
- Link Twitch to Battle.net first. Unclaimed Drops expire after seven days if the account is not linked
Diablo panels worth watching while you farm the hours
If you are accumulating viewing time anyway, the Diablo programming is on Twitch and YouTube. Saturday has the Opening Ceremony at 10:15 a.m. PDT, a Diablo developer news panel at 1:45 p.m., and a cinematics behind-the-scenes session at 4:15 p.m. Sunday brings a Diablo Immortal art session at 10:00 a.m. and The Future of Diablo IV at 11:00 a.m. PDT, which is where any Season 15 detail is most likely to land.
